Romans 1:25 declares,
They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen.
This kind of stuff was all over the Denver Zoo. Humans and other primates share a common ancestor… what a butch of baloney. I’m related to those primates like I’m related to the trees in my yard. However, pure evolutionists do believe that humans have a common ancestor with everything, from bacteria and deep sea creatures to trees and dinosaurs. But I understand why people who do not believe in Christ believe in evolution.
2 Corinthians 4:4 says,
Satan, who is the god of this world, has blinded the minds of those who don’t believe. They are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News. They don’t understand this message about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
From GotQuestions.org –> Evolutionary scientists mock creation and/or intelligent design as unscientific and not worthy of scientific examination. In order for something to be considered a “science,” they argue, it must be able to be observed and tested; it must be “naturalistic.” Creation is by definition “supernatural.” God and the supernatural cannot be observed or tested (so the argument goes); therefore, creation and/or intelligent design cannot be considered science. Of course, neither can evolution be observed or tested, but that does not seem to be an issue with evolutionists. As a result, all data is filtered through the preconceived, presupposed, and pre-accepted theory of evolution, without alternate explanations being considered.
From AnswersInGenesis.com –> One of the most often cited evidences for common descent and evolution is the belief that the similarity of structures (homology) among various animals proves that those structures arose from ancestral species. For example, the bones in the forelimbs/hands of mammals and other vertebrates are commonly referred to as such in science textbooks and evolution websites. Such similarities are claimed in a number of areas: DNA, embryonic development, bone structure, behavior, and others.
However, homology in and of itself proves only that there are similarities. Any reason as to why these similarities exist is subject to the observer’s prior beliefs. Those who believe that evolution is the explanation for the descent of all life will see these similarities as evidence for that. In fact, it is important to note that the selection of what is a homology and what is convergent evolution (similar structures that arose independently) is often arbitrary, depending on the assumptions about when and how such structures/behaviors arose.
On the other hand, creationists see similarity as the hallmark of our Creator. Designers often employ similar structures and techniques on various projects—even if the projects are in different fields. In a similar fashion, great design in one animal kind being carried over to other kinds is better explained by common design, since it is not arbitrarily restricted by supposed relation and times.
